About us

News that respects your time.

Lidnews24 is a small, independent news service focused on clear writing, useful context, and fast loading pages.

Our mission

We want reliable information to be easy to find and easy to understand. Our pages are designed for mobile phones, slow connections, and readers who need the facts without unnecessary distractions.

We are starting with newsroom notes and explainers, and we will add verified reports as they are ready.

What we publish

We cover national affairs, international developments, and sport. We prioritise verified information and avoid sensational claims. When a story changes, we update it and explain what changed.

Editorial standards

• We separate confirmed facts from analysis and opinion.
• We correct significant errors promptly and clearly.
• We do not publish private information without a public-interest reason.
• We label sponsored content when it appears.
